We collect a limited amount of information to provide and improve the service:

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • Puzzle data. The crosswords you create — including grid layouts, answers, and clues — are stored on our servers so you can access them across sessions.
  • Usage data. We may collect basic, anonymised information about how you interact with the app (e.g. pages visited, errors encountered) to help us fix bugs and improve the experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the PS Puzzles service
  • Associate your puzzles with your account
  • Generate shareable links for your puzzles
  • Communicate with you about your account if necessary

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth. Used for authentication. Google's privacy policy governs data collected during sign-in.
  • Supabase. Used for database storage and authentication infrastructure.
  • Vercel. Used to host and serve the application.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also export your puzzle data at any time using the Export feature in the editor.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
